Draft Recovery Strategy Released
The draft Recovery Strategy has now been released by the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority.
The Recovery Strategy is a proposed road map for recovery from the earthquakes, including direction for major activities required to make the recovery effective, timely and well co-ordinated. Key features include the establishment of timeframes for completion of certain activities (such as central city demolition) and the requirement for several new Recovery Plans to implment the Strategy.
The Recovery Strategy is open for public submission until 30 October 2011 and can be downloaded from there CERA website here.
